Expectations sharing

Dear reader,

          When the idea of this blog first cropped up in my mind, it also came with a vision. I envisioned this blog as a reference, as a guide that would facilitate our career planning and decision making process. No writer of success literature would ever consider or dare telling the reader what exactly he or she ought to do. It is your life and it always should be your responsibility. To look for answers to every question of yours in this blog would be gross over-estimation of this blog’s effectiveness. But issues that usually concern us all has been comprehensively tackled and hopefully; should be enough. Frankly,much of the material in these pages is borrowed but the overall synthesis of ideas i.e. threading the pieces together into a congruous whole, is mine. It is advised that you read this blog from cover to cover first and afterwards, keep coming back to the chapters as and when you require them. I would sincerely try to edit and update the content on an ongoing basis.The blog intends to simplify the notions attached to that fascinating word called success. It also explains that success is a slow, arduous and often, heart-breaking journey. Quite a lot of this book contains subjective opinions and if they are erroneous, I would be very glad if you take the trouble of pointing it out and explaining as to why it is so. That would be incredibly helpful in revising this blog into a better form and finer substance.

          Finally, a word of caution! History is witness that ideas are mortal, too. Every idea has a certain life span and then it’s the next big one's time. So, ideas in this blog which I passionately believe in, as the best ones today may gradually be replaced by better ones today evening! We can trace a similar pattern in success and achievement saga of the mankind. What was a miracle yesterday is just a footnote in history today! That thought should lend us two qualities; Hope and humility. It would be wise to commence our journey with the right perspective and perception. Please remember that all human existence is, in the immortal words of Rabindra Nath Tagore, …..tireless striving stretching its arms towards perfection. Please understand that we aren't there, yet!
